Moscow called on both Iran and Israel to exercise restraint, after before advising  Russians to refrain from travelling to Israel, Lebanon and the Palestinian regions. German foreign minister Annalena Baerbock on X formerly Twitter, prompted “maximum restraint”.

UN Security Council asks Israel to do more aid In Gaza

The UN Security Council (UNSC) on Thursday grant Israel’s pledge to open further entry points to allow philanthropic aid into Gaza but said “more should be done to help civillians in the besieged Palestinian region.

In a declaration, legislator “took note of the statement by Israel to open the Erez junction and let the use of the Ashdod port for aid deliveries into Gaza, but stressed that more should be done to bring the needed relief given the scale of requirements in Gaza”.

The war in Gaza broke out after Hamas launched their October 7 attack against Israel which left 1,170 people dead, mainly  civillians, according to Israeli data.

Palestinian extremist also took about 250 hostages, 129 of whom remain in Gaza, including 34 the Israeli army says are dead. Iran has said it had no progress awareness of October’s assault.

Israel’s retaliatory derogatory has killed at least 33,545 people in Gaza, mainly women and children according to the Hamas-run region’s health ministry.
